Child maintenance calculator

There is a tool available on the GOV.UK website that enables you to calculate the child maintenance payments per child based on the income position of both parents. 

You will need to know the income position, any benefits claimed and how many nights per week the other parent will look after each child to be able to make calculations with the tool.

Once you’ve completed your calculations, note them down and add them to the children’s living costs calculator and the Agreement builder - Children tool on this site.
